An abandoned baby is a 3 Candlestick Bullish reversal pattern.

Very similar to a morning star doji.

The abandoned baby is a bottom reversal pattern where the third candlestick gaps up from the second candlestick.

The doji candlestick will also gap down from the first candlestick.

Look for an abandoned baby in a down trend. The beginning of the pattern is simply a continuation of the trend, then a small gap down and a doji.

The reversal is the key because we go from gapping down to gapping into a new trend. This is a pretty dramatic change in sentiment.

The abandoned baby is not a pattern you will see everyday, but when you see it, know that it is a very high probability pattern.
